This is a work composed of two digital paintings. Lau Fau Shan is a fish village and famous tourist point at the border between Hong Kong and China, I had a chance to work there and explore an exotic place in Hong Kong.
These two works are a sketch work, using Procreate to draw it as a draft and then paint it aftedays . In the upper one, I saw some mainlanders looking at the opposite bank. The opposite bank is not Central Hong Kong, but Shenzhen, China. In the past, this prosperous city would only make people think of Hong Kong, not mainland China.
The following subtitles are not what they said, but I want to imitate the movie monologue to express my feelings about this scene.
